Who the hell squeezed Cheney’s head?

by Scurvy Bastard on May.11, 2009, under Politics

Someone must have and the shit started oozing out.  Just read a CNN start titled “Cheney ramps up attacks on both sides of the aisle”.  Not only is he making himself look like an idiot in regards to the Democrats and Colin Powell but his own party.

Since Cheney basically spent eight years running the country (c’mon now, we all known W wasn’t that smart), just maybe Dick should take a cue from W and remain pretty much mum on the state of everything.

“While he certainly has a right to defend what they did over the last eight years, since he was the architect of much of it …” says Ed Rollins, a GOP strategist.  This kind of indicates that even people a little deeper in the party seem to think Cheney ran the country.

I would think that when one is part of arguably the worst administration in the history of the United States, then one should maybe crawl under one’s rock and just be quiet for a decade or two until the shit storm blows over.

The results are in!

by Scurvy Bastard on Nov.20, 2008, under Politics

Mr Bob Trapp garnered 6 votes in his run for Linn County Auditor.  He most likely had at least 1 more since there was a vote for Bob Tropp and I suspect that was because the ballot reader could not read my wife’s handwriting.  A PDF of the tally sheets is at the Linn County auditor’s blog.

We are quite proud of our Bob given that his campaign begun on the Friday before election day and operated on a shoestring budget…ok, so he had no budget but…

Bob garnered more votes than luminaries like Barrack Obama and Homer Simpson who scored one vote, Sarah Palin and Tavian Banks, also both with one vote, and even more than Jesus Christ who was only able to manage 3 votes.  We believe this gives Bob a solid footing in his run for Iowa governor, or whatever other office we decide that he will run for.

Campaign donations are always welcome.  Checks can be made out to ‘People to Elect Bob Trapp’ and they are not tax deductible at this time.  If there is a need, we can even take donations via Paypal.

On behalf of Bob, thank you for your support!

Election results!

by Scurvy Bastard on Nov.11, 2008, under Politics

Just in case anyone should be chomping at the bit for the election results, I have received an email from Joel Miller, Linn Co. Auditor, assuring me that the full results will be posted around the 20th of November. Apparently his staff is too busy doing all of the mandated stuff in regards to the federal elections.

Personally I think he is scared to show how vulnerable he was in this election and that many others felt there were better candidates, or maybe he got a pair of BOOOOBIES to play with and that is keeping him pretty well occupied. I know it would keep me occupied.

Elect Bob Trapp – County Auditor

by Scurvy Bastard on Oct.30, 2008, under Politics

My slightly dubious aquaintance Bob, who can be found at LibertyBob.com, is now a write in candidate for Linn County Auditor. In Linn County the auditor is running unopposed which just isn’t right in a democracy. There should always be at least two candidates.

Having known Bob for a few years now, I believe him to be able to competently handle the office, especially for $84,000+ a year. This could possibly be seen as a springboard to his 2012 run for the presidency which is currently in the contemplation stage. Stay tuned to BobTrapp2012.com for further updates.

If you are in Linn County, IA keep Bob Trapp in mind as you head off to the polls on Tuesday and make sure to visit LibertyBob.com. He will be happy to address any issues that the public may be concerned about.

Now how in the hell am I going to work BOOOOBIES into this post?
